R3-Midterm Impact
This Result consists of a mid-term impact study of the ForestFire Protection training on the readiness and resilience of the rural populations against forest fires. It will include an upscaling of training developed in Result 2, followed by a midterm impact assessment during a wildfire season, and a final publication will conclude it afterward. At least 240 adults from at least 24 different local communities will be involved in this study. They will receive the ForestFireProtection training package as upscaling activity of the training. Partners will monitor their resilience and readiness against forest fires throughout the fire season (5 months). The results of this study will be compiled in a final publication disseminated to the policymakers and the press.
